Augsburg : 1726. Large wallmap 1440 x 1680 mm, engraved by Michael Kauffer, dissected in 50 sheets, laid down on linen and folded into a full tree calf pull-off case in the form of a book (315x200mm), red morocco label, some foxing, minor leather loss at foot of spine, otherwise fine.
This is a re-issue by Wieland of Muller’s important survey of Bohemia (1722). Muller, who started his survey in 1712, did not live to see it published. He was succeeded as Austrian Surveyor by Johann Wolfgang Wieland.
