Sedition and Defamation Display’d: In a Letter to the Author of the Craftsman.

London: Printed for J. Roberts, near the Oxford-Arms in Warwick Lane. 1731. Cr. 8vo, [4], viii. 48pp, half-title, disbound, inserted into sugar-paper wrappers, good
ESTC notes that sheets from two impressions and two editions were mixed at random, but as the two editions listed are of 25 and 48 pages respectively we find this difficult to understand. Authorship was originally given to John Hervey, who was consequently challenged to a duel for his attack in the Preface on William Pulteney. The real author, William Yonge, was a Whig M.P and ally of Robert Walpole.
