Kathleen Scott (1878-1947) was the wife of Robert Falcon Scott (of the Antarctic) and mother of Peter Scott. After Scott’s death she married Edward Young, who became Baron Kennet. She was a prolific sculptor of portraits, having studied in Paris where she became very friendly with Auguste Rodin. The present work shows off some of her finest work.
